爱游戏体育平台APP登陆 was created in 2005 to tackle the inequalities and systemic barriers for girls and women in sport; however, we are also aware of how these inequalities reach far beyond sport culture and how they affect racialized and marginalized populations more than others.

We recognize that 爱游戏体育平台APP登陆’s values of Inclusion and Social Change cannot be fully realized until we address these injustices and oppression and make meaningful change.

As part of our commitment (read our statement on anti-racism )  and response to this critical call to action 爱游戏体育平台APP登陆 has created an Anti-Racism & Respect Advisory Committee (ARRC) to inform and guide programming practices, staff and volunteer education, and key areas of operations, partnerships, and fundraising with regard to anti-racism and respect. Learn more about our ARRC by clicking here.

In October 2020, the Board of Directors appointed Debbie King Chair of the ARRC.  Debbie is a Toronto-based mother, community leader, fitness coach, and multi-sport athlete representing Canada in masters track and field. Since joining Fast & Female in 2018, she has participated in live and virtual events as a R.E.A.L. Role Model, Champ Chat emcee and GYGT keynote speaker.

Debbie is a passionate advocate and experienced organizer who co-founded and chairs the QVPS Black Student Success Committee in Toronto, and works actively to promote representation and racial equity in educational and active spaces. As Chair of the ARRC, Debbie will lead the committee’s effort to imbed an anti-racism lens in all aspects of 爱游戏体育平台APP登陆 operations so that girls and women who have historically been underserved will be represented, engaged and inspired to reap the many benefits of sport participation, thus contributing to a healthier fabric of equality and leadership among Canadian women.
